Also, to be fair, it'd be a PITA managing 20 cash back CC's for 20 accounts. |

Mehh... that's what virtual numbers are for. :) |
| monstermaash | 03-04-2019 04:55 PM | Re: ALL PayPal Accounts Now REQUIRE "Claim Money" I dont know about you guys but my "claim it now" just turned into "accept the money".

You haven't had any issues paying eBay fees with a bank account? Also, what if I paid for it with my credit card that is in my real name? I never really noticed that it offers a credit card/bank account option until recently because I always had it set up on autopay through PayPal. | When ebay is pulling funds from your bank account...are they really trying to get it from paypal but since the balance won't cover it, paypal pulls from the bank? |

It's really not that hard to pay eBay fees with a debit card. I use my LLC business account. It keeps a record of the card in eBay and you can do it with 1 click. | Great.
Anybody know if you can pay several accounts (ebay fees) with one credit card? I really don't want to go out and get 9 prepaid cards and keep that straight in addition to all the other stealth stuff to track. |

Its actually 200/$20,000.
And it applies to personal accounts only. Once you reach that limit they require you to upgrade to a business account. | Not sure this is correct. At one time you could not continue to receive payments if you hit either 200 transacti8ons or $20 in sales. You would receive one warning at 175 (my amounts are low) and a second at 195. Then PP would shut you down until about Feb of the following year. I would just change my payment address and use a diff pp acct for the next 195 transactions. In a couple cases rotating 3 PP accts in one ebay acct.
What I think is incorrect is your statement that they require you to upgrade to a business acct. I don't think so, they just require verified info for tax reporting purposes after the limitations are met. |

Or if you're paying via ACH on eBay, eBay will pull all fees straight from your bank account.
Or if you're paying fees through Paypal and you select your bank account as the funding source rather than your balance, it will pull all fees from your bank account.
I'm really not sure what you're asking. |

I assume that would be an easy link for eBay to make. Same card on 9 accounts is as obvious as it gets.
My plan, since I already have 10+ bank accounts from the past few years of stealth, is to start using all my personal + business debit cards for fees. | Yeah, me too. Ebay allows a person to have two accounts. I have 3 people on my credit cards. Theoretically I could have 6 accounts off one credit card.
What I thought I saw was that someone (ebay?) won't let you use prepaid cards for fees or shipping. If that is correct...???? If it is wrong, I guess I just have to stock up on cards and keep those organized too. |

Should've said "they require a tax ID", not "they require you upgrade to business account". :nerd: |

Can't answer that one because I haven't tried recently. There have been a lot of threads here recently about eBay rejecting prepaid cards so I don't know what their current policy is on prepaid cards. Last time I tried was about 2 years ago and it worked fine then using a vanilla card for fees. "Theoretically I could have 6 accounts off one credit card."
Your card still only has one unique card number, so I wouldn't recommend even trying what you're thinking about. If you do though, by all means please let us know how it goes. | Since me and my address are "banned for life" from ebay selling, I won't be trying it. I am surprised ebay hasn't gotten involved in how this will go down. Their fee payments will surely suffer. Money is money and as far as I know, they are not being regulated in laundering control. I don't know why they would not accept money from pretty much any source. |

I've been trying to add a bank account (wf) for some days now and it just keep saying error and won't let me do it. Are we not able to add bank accounts to stealth accounts any longer or am I missing something? This happened to me with 2 unlinked accounts. |

Re: ALL PayPal Accounts Now REQUIRE "Claim Money" So after reading the thread it seems if you withdraw the funds to a bank account and have eBay fees paid by t he bank account you wont deal with the "claim it" scenario ? |
