 DBA/LLC for new PayPal
If I were to form a DBA to obtain a new EIN for to create a new PayPal, would PayPal cross-reference the EIN info with the name of the DBA, or the name of person who formed the DBA? Same question for an LLC, would PayPal cross-reference the EIN with the LLC name, or with the name of the LLC owner?
If they simply confirm the EIN matches the DBA/LLC name, I assume I could put any name as the owner of the account/business on PayPal, and submit relevant documents if needed, but I'd like to get some peoples thoughts.
While we're at it, any thoughts on the same question when applied to creating new Amazon Seller Accounts?
