Default Sorry we cannot transfer your money right now

I added a new bank to a limited Paypal after my 180 days was up to withdraw funds. Currently I'm getting the sorry cannot transfer right now message due to paypals security being triggered. I've waited 24 hours but still not transferring through. Is there any workaround this? I'd rather not rely on a endorsing a check..thanks all

You need to call them first so they unlock it. Don't keep trying to withdraw it beyond 3 times either or you'll have to wait another 24 hours.

what do you mean by unlock it?

I already called them to add the new bank account. they told me to keep trying and wait 24 hours but its not working..

Normally I have to call them and due to something with their security they have to unlock the funds so you can transfer it. "Because the system or whatever still sees you as a limited or whatever" But the message "Sorry we cannot transfer your money right now" Is normally an issue of trying it too many times.

I would wait until maybe Monday and then try two times at best. never try more then 3 because it locks it whatever

is there a phonenumber connected to the paypal? if not it is most likley that. You need to connect one and wait 1 month (and do not try to withdraw it in this month!!!!)

I agree with Icykid298 here.

Same situation happened to me when connecting a new bank account (it happened several times). Every time I linked a new account, before I could withdraw funds, I got that same message. All I had to do at that time was call them and let them know I was trying to withdraw to my bank acc but that I couldn't because I was getting that message.

After that, they simply do something on their backend (call it unlock/authorize/approve or whatever you like) and then asked me to try again. Worked every time for me. (Bank acc linked was from the US).

Good luck with your withdrawl, I hope you can fix it.

Thanks. Still not working. Been trying every 24-48 hours and account is unlocked. Every rep said I need to just wait and try again.

Has anyone ever endorsed a check? Thinking that’s the only way around.

I could also try the PayPal mobile app as I’ve got a new phone but my number is still the same and don’t want to risk linking to an old account.

I have read if you add a bank account after 180 days,Paypal has to make sure you are the rightful owner of the Paypal account,
if there is a bank account linked before suspension,there is no problem transferring to that account.

Yes I know but my prior bank was closed without my knowledge so I had to add a new one. The new one is confirmed with deposits.
