Hi

Is anyone seeing an increase in security prompts when they log into Paypal?

Sometimes I need to click the box, and sometimes there is captcha

Any ideas why it happens?

Their TOS says Captcha and security prompt may be triggered if they think you're a robot.

In my experience, a shady IP can also cause it. Even when I changed IP and browser, it took some time for it to go away.

Yes I noticed it when changing from mobile IP to VPN IP

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread. Is this anything to worry about. I am getting it and just now PayPal asked me to reset my password?

Make sure you have correct and working mobile attached with pp, eventually they will have to verify pp with sms, be prepared
