Using mail forwarding services in Paypal's eyes

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to buy some furniture items in Europe and the US, but since most of Ebay sellers and e-commerce stores do not ship overseas, I have to use Freight Forwarding services.

I was wondering how it looks in Paypal's and Ebay's eyes when somebody buys items shipped to his name in different countries?

Would it raise any flags/questions?

I would appreciate if someone can share his/her expertise. Thx.

It doesn't raise any flags - you just void your buyer protection that would ordinarily be in place.

Instead of the seller being obligated to deliver the item to your home address, they are obligated to deliver the item to your forwarding address. If anything goes wrong after that point it's up to you and the forwarding company to mediate. Paypal wouldn't get involved since from their end, it's showing a successful delivery to the address on file.

No problems with adding your forwarding address to Paypal though.
