Default Has anyone tried "Xoom" to withdraw money.

Has anyone used "Xoom" to withdraw funds from their PayPal account? It's a PayPal owned company and you can send money to a bank, debit card, or cash pickup using your balance.

Tried it to the stage where they ask for the receivers Name, Address details, whether you send it to another bank or they do a cash pick up.

Hmm interesting. I'm pretty sure I've gotten all the way to the last part and they haven't required me to upload any documents to them during those steps. Possibly at the veryyy end? Or May just depend on the account. Also it was allowing me to use my PayPal balance to send the money, but I dont have much to withdraw so haven't tried it yet. Will let you guys know when I have funds available.

I have tried yesterday to send money from US Paypal using Xoom, at the very last step it gave me option to send from my bank or card (both are connected to paypal).

For me there were not option to send from PP balance.

And later i receive email that my transaction is cancelled due to security concerns.

That is rough but kind of expected from the ties to PP.

I've just successfully transferred money from my PayPal balance using Xoom. I deposited my PayPal balance to my bank account. Worked perfectly for me no problems.

Thanks for sharing your experience.
Was there any excessive type of verification that was necessary to get it done?

No type of verification. Just enter your routing number, account number, name and that's it. But I'm sure if you have some type of limit already on your PayPal account it might not work. But I'm not 100% sure since my account is not currently limited and can not experiment that yet. Can also deposit your balance into your debit card and or pick up at a store (walmart for example)

Hmm possibly because your account is not as secure as mine? Or maybe because your not from US? I've successfully transferred money using my PayPal balance and depositing it into my bank account.

Hi, I tried it last week. I have a US account and successfully used PP balance to transfer to my family in another country via Xoom. Though I don't have any credit/debit tied to my PP account.
Note that you can send up to $2,999 within 24 hrs. via Xoom without submitting additional info/documents. Hope this helps!

Right on - I wonder though that if you try sending higher amounts closer to the threshold of $2,999....the risk of having issues

Update. I managed to transfer all of my PayPal balance ($2,900 each time) to my family member's bank account via Xoom after being permanently limited for the second time. Phew, What a relief
