| Yeah, I gave it to them like 12 years ago. I created a new one with all legit info, but left off the SSN. I can probably take in $600 bucks a year without giving it to them, but once I hit the $600 amount I'm probably screwed.
I also hope that editing the SSN on the old account didn't cause a red flag when putting it into the new one.
And lastly, my PayPal ban was when they were with eBay so a ban on one resulted in a ban on the other. I was eBay banned, but PayPal's ban came along for the ride. |

iT COULD depend on what you plan to do with your new Paypal account,what you sell and size and numbers of payment received ?
It is odd to go back to a banned account 12 years ago to change the SSN? |

Not much - I created a new eBay and that worked, which I directly payments directly to my bank account so no PayPal there.
Mostly using it for some payments, but 99% taking in money from Beermoney sites (about $100-$600 a month). Then fairly immediately moving that to my bank account. |

If I were you I'd try to make a new account based on your real info.
Then make extra accounts per stealth guide way. |

You dont have much of a choice,there is no such thing as stealth SSN,use your own and hope it works.
or do not use Paypal,use AMZN pay or Apple Pay or google PAY,there is also Propay if they are still around |

So you can't just buy a PayPal anymore that will pass SSN? Or do you just need to buy an account from outside the US? |

| Buying a PP that will pass SSN is pretty illegal so it's beyond the forum account services I'd bet - you'll have to scour the web.

Someone bought a Paypal account which comes with SSN on this forum,he sold something,IRS moved in swiftly and seized the $$.
Getting a non US Paypal account may work,and you can link a US bank account but does Paypal check to see if the names match? |

I recalled Paypal back then has a policy ,for US expatriates who moved to a foreign country.he can link a US bank account to his foreign Paypal account.
Since Paypal is US based,this is no big deal.
There is something different with the way clearance is conducted between our central Bank (Federal Reserve) and Canadian Central Bank than with other foreign banks,I dont recall the details,you may be able to find more information by googling.
But I think Canadians can link a US bank account with his Paypal account,let us know.
I know there was a time Canadian used car buyer will drive across the border and meet with his US seller in a bank parking lot,then go inside the bank and complete the transaction.
I know at one time,Canadians will cross the border to buy cigarettes,some sellers will drive to Niagara Falls USPS post office and ship her dvd as domestic media mail,keeping the difference . |

I was able to link US bank account easily with Canadian pp years ago but I haven't needed to do that until recently for new business division purposes |
