Skype - ending?

Usually I use skype to call but they have stopped their services, can anyone suggest an alternative?

I haven't used skype to call in ages - actually I am wondering if anyone has had any success in getting credit left in skype refunded to themself?

Getting closed in May

They are winding down a lot of the services on there

Sad days really I have contacts going back over 10 years on there

with Uline, whatsapp, wechat I don't see how skype or it's successor can have a significant spot honestly.
