NEw Legit Paypal Account Need HELP!! With HELD PAYMENT

I just opened a legitimate Ebay and PayPal account I also have 2 stealth accounts. Heres my problem the funds of my 1st sale are being held until 06/12 well thats what it says in the PayPal sales detail. Considering this is a legit account is there anyway to have the money released. I have another $175 going in on Monday from an I phone I sold and I assume the same thing will happen.

I really need some advice here and really need the money more!!!

Your funds should be released within 3 days of the time tracking shows package delivered. Should also be released if and when the buyer leaves you positive feedback.

Sounds like a standard high risk hold because of the item. It doesn't matter if it's real or stealth details. You just need to keep selling and the holds will release. GOOD LUCK!

after how long or how many items does the hold go away? last account i had it was after 3-4 items. not sure if its always the same. also they werent high risk items.

ok thanks guys. The iphone I sold is suppose to go over seas i asked the buyer if i can re-list the item so i can do a usa only auction. If I explain the situation to the buyer about re-listing and he leaves me negative feedback is that something i can fight?

If the buyer negz you, there isn't any recourse for you. The way to fix it is to avoid it.

I most of last night reading about the 21 day funds hold. I was wondering if anyone has more information on 2 ideas or methods i came up with I would really appreciated it if someone could or would pm me to discuss. I know touchy areas such as this are not often shared completely open in public forums.

As I understand it, I believe that Paypal has a Relatively New policy that went into effect recently which is that New accounts can be Subjected to the 21 day hold rule for 3 Months, REGUARDLESS of DSR amounts and ratings. Which leaves only Positive feedback as the ONLY way to get your Money out of Paypal early.

The 3 day rules is in effect. If you have the proper email. just email them the particular transaction id and say this has been delivered for 3 days please release the hold... and they will. I myself, just forget about it and hope people leave feedback, most don't unfortunately i noticed, sometimes i'm scared to email ppl and ask because what if they aren't sure about the item they got. they may want a refund ;p so i just let it go for now, and hope. New less than 2 week old stealth accounts.. i just let simmer anyway, isn't like i am going to do a withdraw.

20 ratings in each of the 4 categories AND your average in any category cannot go below 4.5 AND your combine average has to be 4.8 or higher (if I understand their BS properly). The whole thing must've been written by a bookie or a drunk accountant.

I have $$ thats still on hold since june 23rd. it is now june 29.
there is no rhyme or reason to the bs that paypal does. The buyer left me feedback same day. they are holding $500 of my money for nothing! Reason #1 going to merchant account and I sell more on amazon and other online venues now. They can kiss my...

5 days since i received positive and paypal still has my $500.
paypal sucks and Im enjoying watching ebay drown and sink below amazon.

Call paypal and talk to someone to get your money release. I alway call when my package show delivered to get my money release i do not wait 3 days for paypal to do it.

I just got an email saying PayPal appeal denied and closed my account I am not sure what i can do now except wait 180 days.. Has anyone ever had one of these appeals reversed?

I have had success with calling!
I am batting .500 with it.
1 account I waited a couple weeks and called and got a really nice person and she released the money for withdrawal but the account remained limited on paypal. I didnt care as long as I got my $$$.
The other time I called they eventually transferred me to supervisor and he said that paypal doesnt want to do business with me in the future and thats it forever. it will be 180 days.
So, thats my experience. You may have some success if you call at the right time and get the right person. Be nice and you may get it.
