One of my accounts was limited earlier today, i rang up spoke to the operator at paypal, uploaded the needed docs (id) and within 30 mins was fully restored!

This is paypal we are talking about. One minute you are unlimited, the next banned for life.
If you were limited for something serious, most of the time they just try to get more info from you to make it harder to open a new account or link you to other accounts.

You are very fortunate the documents they ask for are easy to supply since you don't need to provide a SSN like we do.
