Paypal Sent Email about Account Limitation but when I log in it's not limited

Paypal sent me an email asking for SS or tax id to remove the limitation but when I log in it's not limited. How long do you usually survive after an email like this?

Are you sure that it was actually paypal that sent you that email? They doesnt usually request that over email. Make sure when you get those types of emails, go to paypals website in your BROWSER, do not click any links in the email, because that could also be a phishing email from a hacker.

if you log in and it shows no limitation then more than likely it was a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ email trying to fish for information.
