It's like they are saying that 21 day holds are only placed on ebay.com and ebay.ca, but that is not the case.

Have mentioned B4, holds can be applied in each country.

I have no holds on one account - never did since day one, ebay motors.

another account gets the hold only if its an apple product.

And another just started to release the funds immiediatly, untill that - red flag, high risk - **** started this week, and now I'm back to the 21 day hold, but they are only holding funds for 14 days.

I have some 15 accounts ready for use but now when i read about those 21 days money holdups i'm not sure what to do. Is it related to some countries or all? My accounts are registered to:Slovakia, Slovenia and San Marino ( since those countries can withdraw to CC ).

Might have to test and teach rest of us robpav.

Seems to me like a lot of accounts in countries outside of the US, UK, Canada see 21-day holds on new accounts. Also, if you use a stealth name that can't be looked up in public information, I see the 21-day hold on these accounts as well.

Hm all names I used are randomly selected ( well common name for a country + random common username :) ). Same with phone number, only address is real. Well I'll see how it goes :)

How long does the 21 hold last on old accounts? I just got the hold on a non stealth 2007 account.

I have an account with 75 feedback and still has 21 days hold

Have more accounts with 1-5 feedback and do not have any hold from the first sale.

One factor that you get 21 days hold is location

Don't think you are safe after they stop doing 21 day holds. I received $5,700 in one account. Item shipped. Customer happy. Xfered money out after 21 day hold. No problem. Paypal sends e-mail stating no more 21 day holds. Then revived $3200. Xfered $2000 out... LIMITED!!! Refunded customers and closed the account then opened another one.

With me they ago away on 1 year anniversary... So far 4 accounts went this direction. Have not had them back since....

The holds go away with 100 feedback. That has always been the case with my accounts. They will come back if your paypal gets limited.

it different for everyone. acct. 1 year old, only fb @ 64 now, but no 21 day hold after i received maybe 15-20 fb

Typical paypal that info changes since April when the quoted post was written.

No wonder it's a fight to stay ahead all the time.

On my accounts with 21 day holds, it is always released within seconds of feedback being left.

Again, why worry about the hold. Just be thankful you can even sell anymore. With all the rules and regulations on stealth accounts just be happy you can sell and collect. It may take a while on new accounts but at least it is getting done and moving in the correct Direction.

This PP account is like 6 years old and non stealth. But I had a buyer have an issue a month ago and now they hold my funds. Basically EVEN if the tracking number is added and states delivered I must wait till buyer feedback or 21 days. SUCKS>

But yesterday I sold a used item for $50 and the funds were available right away. But when I sell new they hold it.

Maybe all my sales will stop being held and this new or use thing is not important but strange.
