Default As of June 6th Paypal is changing the way they handle limitations

I will let you all in on a little inside knowledge however, starting on June 6th (unless we must delay for technical reasons) there will be several advancements in the way account limitations are resolved. Limitations and restrictions can be solved a lot faster, sometimes instantly. More info can be disclosed about limitations in order to help you better understand what is happening. And no longer will most cases be at the mercy of slow faxes or emails. PayPal does pay attention to your complaints, and we strive to improve our systems to make things more user friendly. I can't disclose much detail about the upcoming improvements, mostly because if something doesn't work in the way it was originally designed and we have to postpone development, I don't want 500 emails saying WTF. I'm just suggesting that you give PayPal a chance to make things better...unless your fraudsters, spoofers, or con-artists (the you can stay the hell away from my PayPal)

I hope for one they're good updates and features. We don't need anything else to come against us.

Paypal knows nothing about this. At least the reps I've talked with.

LiveHelp staff get no acccess to information and so they're generally incorrect about a lot of things.

Hey, I think this is really true.

I just had a PP account limited yesterday, it still request those typical informations (utility bill, proof of inventory). But get this, I faxed my item around 3PM today and now it's 10PM my limitation has been lifted. That is super fast compare to how long they took in the past.

I'm assuming you used real information when you signed up?

With Paypal you can't really use anything other then real info. If your info is ⊗⊗⊗⊗, you can't hope to succeed long term, unless you're Modee.

That's good to know. Do you know if Paypal will stop you from opening a second account if you already have an account with them listing you SS# and real name?

Who cares about being limited? As long as you don't lose any money just start over with a brand new account.

So would a "corporate" account be the same as a business account? I'm about to open a new account and I was thinking of a personal account to start, and then upgrade it as needed. However, I'm considering opening this under a new name, address, etc. as it will be linked with ebay in order to sell internationally. I assume because of the link, if I keep my real name on the paypal, it will end up causing problems? Or would ebay only link the email address and physical address? Would it be possible to keep the same name but change the address on the paypal account so it matches the ebay account? Is this how a link "links"? If so, I would certainly like to keep the name the same, and provide the SS# if needed.

I know you said "name and SS# must match...the rest?" Modee, but just wonder if even that will be a problem for a linked account?

I think business is as high as you can get from the last time I checked. I haven't seen a corporation account before.

I have a business account now. I guess I can't get a second one? DOh!
