Can't change bank account on PP
 

We had not used the pp to withdraw to bank account. And in the time we ended up having the account shut down.
So today I went into change the account and it told me it didn't know the machine I was using even though I use this computer only and same browser daily to access.
So it said get a text message to verify or verify public info. I can't do that so I tried text and it says this number is not registered in your name.
How can I change this account.

Trying to make sense of your questions here..

If you log into paypal under a different IP or new user account. It may ask you to verify that it is you who is wanting to withdraw to your bank and the same will happen when adding new phone numbers or bank accounts.

If your phone number does not work, try see if you can add a new one. If you do not know an answer to a question click the cancel button and it will ask you to answer a different question, like for example : your phone number, card number or security questions.

No I want to change the bank account.

But nothing is different I use the same computer daily to log into PayPal.

But when I tried to add a new bank account it says it didn't know the computer in using.


So I had to verify either public info about the owner or get a text.

I tried a text but it says that I can't use that phone because it's not registered in the name of the account holder.

It's not letting me answer security questions it's only public info or get a text.

it doesnt matter i only have 2 phone numbers and both are on there. Its saying the phone number is not registered in my name or well the name on the account. So id have to have to get a phone number in the name on the account

US paypal has had a glitch this week.

Had a similar issue when I used a shopping cart.

By chance, did you get the paypal SAND BOX page?

is this something meaning i cant get my money out of paypal or its some glitch? I dont know why it didnt know me i use the same internet same computer same everything always. I changed it once before with out issue dont know why i cant now.

The account is limited right? Just call up PP and have the account manually added then - it is your account right? If they ask some security questions, you can answer them, right?

No it's not limited I have full use of it. And no it's not my account that's why I can't answer questions. Really it is a business account. It was changed to a business account sometime back the business is very much real.

I am getting the same message, this is a verified account. Trying to get the verification to withdraw from my tracfone but it says that it is not register under the stealth account name even though it is.

Nowhere in the thread is there mention of a limited account.

The topic is the OP trying to establish how to change the bank account and deal with phone number issues.

What's your advice for that?

Never mind PP was having its glitch and i was finally able to may a request to withdraw without verification.

In fact, when you go to add a new bank account etc to withdraw to it will ask you to verify the phone number, if your phone number isn't valid and you cannot do that, click cancel then it will give you another question, i.e. secret question, if you dont have that info, click cancel again and it will ask another question and so on. Good way if you dont have an active phone number (always keep one active in the first place!)

Is anyone still having this problem? I'm just trying to add a second bank account and it is saying "to add this bank we need further review, if you still want to add this account contact customer service" anyone else seen this?

I have same problem when i try add new Bank Account . only see button Continue dont have button Cancel .

I am having the exact same problem as of today, no change. and it is a stealth account so I am scared to call them, any updates anyone?
