I don't see any reason why it shouldn't.

doughboykilla 10-12-2008 01:02 PM

this pulg in can it be installed for each user id or only for one Pp account cause i see its a toolbar like google so i dont know if each user can install it so it can be used on muilt accounts.

Exeneva 10-12-2008 03:35 PM

Just enable the plugin and then generate the cards from the actual account interface, not using the plugin tool.

doughboykilla 10-15-2008 06:20 PM

Well that sucks it seems u cant use these on sites that do a address verfiy check
heres what it tells me when i try to use it

Entered billing address does not match address on file at your bank. Please verify and resubmit!

doughboykilla 11-01-2008 11:32 PM

Well it seems when u use the plug-in of paypals not only is the amount u spend takeing out the amount will also be placed on hold for a week. Which means A. if u have a account and have no money in it it will be put in the neg for a week and any money u get will go toruge restoreing your blance! till the hold is off then it will refelect in your account for spending or whatever or B. if you have money in there it will be placed on hold for a week and u can not spend it or w/d it so eather way if u get limted u will lose your money if u had or recived any in the hold time frame.

I dont know i had used paypal Vcc to fund my debit card and i got funds instantly but it showed pending in paypal so i dont think they could reverse it or they would be stealing the money from the debit card or Co. you paid

Is paypal plugin sole for us user? try to download the plugin but there is no link or prompt to download the file. the pp plugin supposedly on the PRODUCT AND SERVICES tab but this tab is not there. Tried open a second pp account in another country and there is this tab but still no link to the plugin.

when would paypal limit your account? the moment when a large sum > 1000 dollar is being received or the moment you tried to withdraw the > 1000 sum?

chostin 12-14-2008 12:17 AM

I have just for the first time had a couple of paypal outgoing payments from my account reversed when within a day or so of the transaction my PP account got limited. It was the first time this happened to me (of course withdrawals to my bank account had been reversed before however :( lol, too many times) - but this new paypal plugin VCC thing intrigues me.

Are you using to pay yourself through a sep. merchant account of some sort ... I am very curious about your idea to pay someone (or yourself) through CC to another PP account.... I would think because it is PP who made the vcc and the paypal account they may have more control over the situation. Not sure.

Please post any more experiences with this as it does potentially open up some new possibilities for getting you $ cleared out of the account when you are too afraid to withdraw too much for fear of being limited (and funds reversed) if it works.

With the paypal debit card sellers have better protection than a normal credit card since buyers only get 45 days to dispute instead of 6 months and they must always sign for the dispute instead of just calling on the phone.

I think with the plugin that if it generates a virtual card # each time that buyers would have an improbable time claiming they didn't make the transaction.

I also think that a merchant dispute for not received might be harder than doing their online dispute system for buyers. And "not as described" might not be possible since paypal might not know if they're on or off ebay and they only do "not as described" off-ebay.

Personally I think receiving all credit card payments through the paypal plugin would be much safer than taking regular credit cards.

I have tried cashing out paypal useing the plug in by paying my self with google checkout. Google sticks it under review every time like its a high risk payment or something i tried doing $63 $100 and $269 and both the $100 and $269 was cancled as high risk but the $63 made it threw then a few days later google closed my account. Seems google is to picky to do this with and i don't know about other merchants but they might by just as bad.

chostin 12-14-2008 01:14 AM

that all sounds great if you are receiving someone's payment through them making a paypal vcc, but how often can you tell someone to make a pp vcc to pay you instead of just paying you with paypal?

I see the main potential of this new function for getting your $ out quickly in a way that PP can't (as easily at least, or hopefully as often) reverse like they have a fondness for :)
doing when it comes to straight withdrawals to your own bank account

Jonas 12-14-2008 03:28 AM

doughboykilla, sounds like google is doing something fishy like recognizing the bank and eating the money. Do they ever release it? You know it could also be if you payed yourself from the similar IP address, cookies (anything even google searching will get a link as it does for adsense), etc. that might be it. Except for slightly lower fees, I don't know why people use google checkout.

chostin, well people win on ebay and they're all "I only have a bank account with paypal" or "I worship paypal and sacrifice animals to it and only pay parking meters, taxes, taxis, haircutters, doctors, yard landscapers, pizza delivery, etc." So the plugin takes care of that.

ebaysuc 12-14-2008 10:09 AM

> 100 and pp limit your account... so how to withdraw >1000 from PP when 100 plus dollar would get limited? still not manage to get the plugin download (anyone could point how)

and for those who use merchant account exclusively have you met ppl who insist in pp payment and how do u guy withdraw the fund in pp?

doughboykilla 12-14-2008 11:54 AM

The paypal account never got limted when i did the Vccs. Google just cancled them payments i made and said they where high risk and shortly after my google account was suppended but i did however get the $63 payment through google useing the paypal plug-in. I think it was because i had a similar IP address cause i can change them at will but they all are in the same city.

Exeneva 01-12-2009 05:34 PM

If anyone has ever had a VCC reverse, let us know.

doughboykilla 01-12-2009 08:05 PM

I have never had one reversed but then again i have not found a good solid way to get cash out useing the paypal plug-in

Simion.com sucks and is a VERY bad idea to try to cash out Vcc's

My upsidecard works flawless to cash out paypal Vcc only catch is your Pp info must match the same info on your upsidecard.

Googlecheckout Very picky on cashing out as well i had a payment of $65 get approved but the $200 payment did not and got i banned shortly after as well. No suprize from googlecheckout which are natorious for baneding people.

I have a few other tricks up my sleeve on how to cash out but if any one else has any solid ways plz pm me with your ideas thanks.

I do know of a way, and that's using Paypal Plugin to fund an AlertPay transfer (sign up for two AlertPay acounts, but remember to clear cookies and switch IPs, etc.) then add the Plugin to the "sender" account, and send to your own verified AP account.

The AP account must be fully verified or else you cannot withdraw from it.

yaw1800 01-12-2009 09:27 PM

how are the fees??

I might have to try that. and it works for people in the US right. I know i found one that wold had worked great but i dont remeber what it was called but it was'nt for the US.

You said u have to be Verfied. In the faqs is says u dont have to be verfied to add or transfer funds so this means you cant w/d them to the bank or u got a monthly limt?

Exeneva 01-13-2009 05:24 PM

No, you have to be verified to withdraw the money, not to send it.

doughboykilla 01-14-2009 09:42 AM

Ok i might give them a try. I know of another site that has everything i need to become verfied ;)
