Adding New Phone Number to Limited Paypal

Hi Everyone,

I am having a small problem, I have a Stealth Paypal account that got limited because i changed my IP Address and then logged in. now they are wanting to verify that i own the account, I have did the steps needed such as change password, and change security questions.

now they are wanting to verify by either texting or calling, problem is i have a Textme number with this Stealth Paypal account and i forgot the email and username to login into the Textme app, I contacted Textme support but they were no help. I am trying to find out how i can add a new number even though its still limited. I have 3 Tracphones unused, so if there is a way to add a new number how would i do so?

Should i email or call?

Look at what you are saying i have an acct and pp wants to make sure it is mine by calljng me on the phone i registered on the acct. But I do not have access to that phone. Would you remove the limit? Acct is toast. When you create accts, also create a spreadsheet and keep all acct info on it. Time to make a new one. You might try calling but they more than likely will want the last 4 of your social and hit you up on db questions, which I would assume you cant answer

I do have access to this number, I remember using it 2 months ago, but i just forgot the Textme username and email. I guess i will have to keep trying till i find the email

Its not yours if you can't access it. You have to login to forward it

heres an update, I added a tracphone number to the Stealth Paypal account and said i would receive a text message with a code, but i never received it. does this not work for tracphones?

I will try emailing Paypal, and see if they will allow me to update my number

I am all in on a 2 day wait and if a response a blanket statement that says login your acct and blah blah or call blah blah
