I have a feeling revealing the work around on public forums led to paypal patching it ...

Now I get why the "juicy" methods are never openly discussed here.

Those ebay and paypal rats (sorry reps) are trawling the boards.

I've seen this message on Paypal. This might be the case. (I'm not sure)

Could anybody help me with a solution on how to bypass PayPal SMS verification so I can enter and add a new working number?. Got good money inside !

I would be interested in this info as well. I've used one of the older methods several times and it worked. But it has been a few years now since I've had to make another account and I am about to do so.

Hier are 2 ways: 1 - If you go into the eBay, then go to pay fees page,
2 - Enter £1 to pay as a one time fee, then that will let you log into the PayPal
3 - Open PayPal on another tab in the same browser
4 - Then you go into the PayPal and turn on google authentication in the settings

If this doesnt work please try

1 - open royal mail website, click buy online postage fill random details
2 - When you reach the checkout part click pay with paypal and then it will redirect you to another page where you'll need to login in paypal
3 - You fill your paypal email and password it will log you in, and then it will return you back to the checkout page and it will want you to pay,
4- You can skip that just close the royal mail tab and open paypal
5 - Update the number or enabled 2SA via Google Authentication

If this doesn’t work you have to call them and replace the number with new one

Is it possible to delete/change phone number from one account (number that is confirmed and used for 2step sign in), and use same no on the other account (my wife's account). They ask her for phone verification with my number ( she entered my number in her profile but never confirm it )

Don't do it. Don't change any info.

Most likely your account is linked with the wife's already but still.

I'd try adding a 2nd new number to her account instead of deleting the primary number and try that way

It's not possible to add 2nd no without calling them, since they don't let her login without that number. Also my cc is linked to her account ( she didn't have her cc back then ), but she only used that account to buy random things online, she didn't use it for anything else. I guess it's going to be a problem about that.

then I guess if they already have your number on her acc and they wanna call it, let them call it.
