Default Submitting Invoices, Supplier contact info

I have a Paypal account which has just been limited. I think I started too quickly, I had made the account about a month ago and left it to age. Then started by listing some small items, about £10 each. After I had sold about 30 of this item, I sold a largish item for £500 which I think is what caused my account to be limited.

Anyway, Paypal is asking for photo ID, proof of address, proof of delivery - all which I can provide.

But they are also asking to provide invoices and supplier contact info - both which I do not have and have never supplied before.

What is the best way to produce this info?

Very simple. First you need to tell whats the items that you sell? then et invoices citing that you bought stocks from China (since 90% of all stocks are made in China) and then attach a name card to the invoice and send them.

It should be fine. =)

Personally I wouldn't start saying you bought the items for China and certainly not sending them invoices showing the items are.

Legit supplier, legit invoice showing the products you have purchased.

If the items are legitimate - can you not just send them the invoices you were sent with the items?

Assuming it's fine is not ideal.

Put plans in place to make sure they pass.

Most of the items I sell come from China, and I am hearing that it's not best to start with saying they come from China

As for the supplier details, I was planning to send my own pay as you go mobile which I have never used for PP before.
What do Paypal do with supplier details? Would they ever call? And if so, what questions should I be prepared to answer?

If you have bought your items you should have gotten an invoice. You can then just provide them with the invoices you got when buying the items. It should be pretty straight forward really

@aalexander, just fyi...making an account 1 month ago and letting it sit around does NOT equal "aging" it...age comes with use so unless you were using it over the whole month, the account is not at all aged.

I have always used invoices from Chinese Sourcing Companies and not once had any issues... at the end of the day, most of the stuff sold on eBay is sourced from China, and a huge amount of sellers use sourcing agents....

Don't worry about the phone number, just put Sourcing Companies email and website on the invoice. In my experience PP will not call them.

It will not be fine with UK paypal to submit Chinese invoices.

I do have invoices, but the invoices I have show my real name and address - but my Paypal account is stealth!

Would this be a problem?

Just a quick update guys...

Submitted all the documents as asked for by Paypal, but a few hours later Paypal refused the appeal. Decided to give them a call to find out the reasons, just for future information.
They said the main reasons for this were because there was quite a lot of money received in a short amount of time. They also asked about my internet service provider which I wasn't expecting! I am using 24vc dedicated VPN. I told them I am using a BT Openzone which I log in with username and password.

Any advice on what to say if they ask about ISP in the future?

I thought many people on this forum have had good success using 24vc? What should I be using instead?

Nothing wrong with a VPN. If asked, you are using a secure network from an office building for protection.

ebay/paypal/anyone knows if you use a VPN or not.

@OP, in all likelihood - even though PP doesn't state this - your sales were risky to them...be honest: were you selling problematic goods like namebrand or knockoffs or...? You had said they were coming from China...

I would of said I don't know! because this guy certainly had your ISP name right up in front his face! ... and since it was 24vc, it would have said the name of their data centre... so the agent probably thought hmmm... this doesn't look like BT or TalkTalk or Sky etc.

In future, under pressure, just say *ehem, ehem, dont really know much about all this ISP, erm... can you tell me what it is? maybe I can find out for you* ... act naive!

Still chuckling he he

Yeah as Yankee mentioned all you have to say is your using a secured connection from an office, most legitimate big corporations all utilize vpns because they secure their data and help prevent hackers, so nothing wrong with using a vpn.

Just sounds like you received too much money in a short period of time which made paypal suspicious, in the future just take it slower or split your sales between multiple stealth accounts to avoid this probloem
