LOL, I thought payphones died back in the "Terminator days", good old days, with the retro malls, retro arcades, and food courts. We don't have any payphones here sadly
While we're on the topic of Google Voice... it does not work in Canada. I've been using tollfreeforwarding.com, but at $10 a month per number, my monthly bill is getting a little higher than I'd like. Any fellow Canadians have a better/cheaper suggestion?
This is correct. Google voice only gives you one number to get forward to. So if thats your cell phone number that your trying to get all calls forward to, then google voice can only give you one number. And before every call from anyone ( especially eBay ) they will ask for your name and it will say something like google voice is trying to connect. Don't they get suspicious?

So why is everyone saying you can get 2 GV numbers for your 1 cell number? That's not true.
And motor, you can select to turn that feature off under settings, then calls.
Also, with some of these "methods" you'll only get a temp number. Once the free trial ends, it's gone. The whole point is to keep an open, working line for them to call.
Guys, I still recommend 1 TRACFONE per account, specially if you have more than 3 accounts. It's easier to track which account they're calling you for, quicker, as you can write the information of your account on a paper and tape it to the back of the tracfone it belongs to.
Google voice - after creating gmail email, you can then make 2-3 google voice numbers
(4 numbers)
Then call tracfone and tell them you moved and want to change your area code: another tracfone #
Then 2-3 more Google voice numbers (another 4 numbers)
= 8 numbers before using sipgate , xvoxx - this will add another 4 numbers
= 10 numbers for $10 lol
forget the payphone
hello, how many gv number you can have per cell phone? 2 or 3? why not more? i just finished adding my 4th gv number to be forwarded to my cell phone. i dont want to keep signing up for more numbers because i want to make sure there is no problems for adding more than 2 or 3 gv numbers.
so can you please let me know? or there is some basics i am not understanding very well about how gv works?
How did you do that? GV flags if you already have your number assigned to one other account!
just now i realized that as i added the 3rd number to my cell phone the first number added was being automatically deleted by google voice. and when i added the 4th the second number got deleted. so i ended up with the last two gv numbers i added to my cell phone
i found out when i opened my emails. and saw the notices from google. so the limit is 2 gv number per cell phone. how does google flag you?
i havent received any weird email from google yet.
hopefully i never will.
