Default Not sure what info to trust

American here trying to create a Canadian stealth account. I've been doing a lot of reading and all of the conflicting info has left me confused.

Services like toll free forwarding and flynumber have both been recommended and advised against with claims that the numbers are recycled, and that ebay/paypal see the numbers as forwarding numbers.

Services like textplus and textnow have also been recommended for phone verification, but others claim that this is a bad idea because these appear to ebay as texting apps essentially. Could I still use these in the event that I have to contact ebay/paypal?

I'd like to have a renewable/permanent verified phone number for the times that ebay/paypal call, as well as something that allows me to make calls from my personal cell without risk of getting linked.

Thank you for any feedback!

If youre trying to open a Canadian account you need to have a Canadian phone number.
Try fongo. It will give you a free Canadian phone number that youll have access to using the app which you can download to your phone.

Yeah, I'll end up making at least 3 stealth accounts anyway to get around noob limits. Might as well see what works just in case on service stops working.

I saw that one earlier when I was browsing google search results. I very much like its pricing and the convenience of the smartphone app. I didn't really see it talked about in the forums though so I wasn't sure of its safety. But it seems like it's worth a shot. Another one I saw but haven't seen mentioned is onesuite. I might have to test that one too, for user knowledge sake.

Why do you think this plan will sort all issues?

Canadian paypal can withdraw to American bank accounts. I have a preexisting US account that has never been associated with any paypal account. For any others I will use a VBA.

I just want to avoid SSN verification and build up a long term account. Running numerous US stealth accounts to avoid SSN prevents me from building any of them up to a significant degree. I would go the LLC route, but my state charges a minimum annual franchise tax of $800! I can get that waived the first year by electing S corp status, but I would still have to pay 1.5% CA state income tax, pay a pointless unemployment tax on myself, and pay ordinary income tax on distributions. S corp status would only be beneficial to me at a higher profit margin. And no, I cannot get around this by establishing business in another state like Wyoming, Nevada, Delaware, etc. I would still have to register as foreign business operating in my state and pay the same taxes. With some careful tax planning I can probably minimize these taxes to some degree, but I don't have the money to see tax professionals right now. This is why I am going about this in the way that I am.
