Default How much to trust with PP 21 day holds ???

Got a few accounts fully verified, but been on this bullsh*t 21 day hold thing for months on end, even though the accounts are mint.

Question is, how much would you trust PP to hold on a 21 day rolling backlog balance like this?

I have been looking at amounts varying from £100 to £200, but would it be worth upping this to maybe £300 or £400 per account?

Any advice...

get your DSR's high enough and the holds tend to dissapear I find...however there are variables such as type of items your selling...

OMG !!! That is some serious backlog.

Quite a serious amount of trust placed with PP I feel.

On that basis, maybe I could up the amounts slightly then. :D

Start putting a packing slip in every order - Melissa has a great one.

You need to work at getting the feedback.

They are their rules - you either play by their rules or find a new playground

It drops off after a while - it's just something you have to go through

By all means ask me how many sales - just as long as you don't expect me to tell you

Thank the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ sellers for holds - too many people not getting what they expected and then not able to get their money back = 21 day hold or until good feedback left

Obvious really, what else could they do?

tme to re-adjust how YOU sell yourself to your buyers AND paypal. 85 transactions should be over the hold hump. ( and it's a hump trust me).
Mind, drawback might be your items if they are high risk. What type of paypal account is it?

its a premier account, and the item 100% is not high risk i only sell them to gain feedback,i hardly even profit on them(just for feedback) and building a good account.

i have to add 85 transaction is since last week and i still have 90 more of the item in my listing

make sure you keep track of how much you take in/receive in payments

soon you will need to be handing in docs if you got 1200 on hold for recent 85 transactions,if sales keep on like that you will be there in no time,so be prepared

once you reach 1600gbp you will get an email saying you need to provide docs etc

make sure you do that before you hit 1900gbp as you get fully limited then, not good

be prepared and be ahead of the game.....

Thanks GTB. the account doesn't have receiving limits. I've already sent documents and all limits are lifted.

are you talking about different documents???(invoice)?? i have that ready too

the only reason im a little worry about this is because the account was resting for about 2 months, suddenly since last week selling increased.

do you think maybe is better if i end my listing??

okay, you already lifted the limits, thats good

selling should increase slowly,so try to increase gradually

if your worried just end a few and keep it steady

let the feedbacks come in and withdraw the money

you can get asked for docs again so be aware of that too

sudden increases can be risky but it depends on other things too

good luck
