It appeared that way because when many of us first complained about it to eBay they said it was a glitch in the system and that they would revise it . Later on they claim that it wasn’t a mistake ....

CPA is going to have him send over all the income to the business and mark it as an expense nominee income , says it happens regularly . Ebay sent out 1099s to Ssn rather than ein for any business...
