Just to let anyone who was reading this thread that the setup I tried was too slow for me.

So I use the card for backups.

Also, I did install linux mint onto the card and it worked really...

Around 5 years ago, on the news, there was a guy who ate his usb flash drive (they are big) and the feds could not get any info from it.
He was a big strong guy though, a wrestler type so I presume...

Come with a nice small usb 3.0 reader and the micro sd card sticks out of it just a little so one can grab it quickly in an emergency and eat it...

I have ordered the micro sd card I mention in my post.

I will go to the store to pickup later.

Yep, I agree with you.

I was thinking that putting a micro sd card into a usb reader is sort of the same as a flash drive/ssd, like sort of.
Same process you do to install windows on flash drive...

Anyone know if it is possible to run windows 10 from a dvd?

I know you can do it on a sd card, but I cant find any info on the net regarding my query.

I do not want to create a windows 10...
