This is interesting as Etsy has recently started doing the same, charging for new accounts. I suppose it is one way to weed out some of the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ accounts.

Never had video verification thank God, but my egay accounts were create and verified before all the new crap so I may have narrowly avoided it

I think the crappy economy is playing a large part. I have seen another drop on sales, even cheap items over the past week. People are struggling
