hello, i have 2 parcels on the same tracking that i should of gotten but only received one as each parcel went on the plane at different times. the first one passed customs and i received it, the second one is saying this "Due to a technical issue the shipment is currently on hold pending further processing" any ideas what this means or for what the reason is?

Your situation may be different than what I'm used to since we are in different countries, but it's quite normal for us to receive multi-part shipments on different days. While I've never seen the bit about a "technical issue" we do frequently see "shipment on hold" whenever a package arrives at a DHL sorting facility after their plane has already gone out for the day. In those cases the package will go out on a plane the following morning, so the tracking results update the next day.
Do you guys prefer DHL over FedEx in regards to the odds of being held up in customs or does it not matter.
Have packages come in every week via dhl. Have only used fedex 2 times and the 2nd time my package got seized and they are slower. DHL fast and more safe. But that is just my experience.
i have used DHL many many times and never had an issue but i recently used FedEx once after 2 years using DHL and had an issue. i suggest Fedex is not the way to go. i imported some products and they wanted an EORI number which was stupid as i never needed it with DHL. i couldn't provide a EORI number and asked them to send the products back to the shipper. doing so i lost couple of pounds in shipping cost.
