 DHL parcel on hold
So I ordered from an American clothing website and paid extra money for express shipping everything was fine until I got a email saying my item was on hold and I had to pay customs which was fine so I went and paid them, my item was still on hold so I tracked it and it said “ Shipment on hold with dhl

The shipment is undergoing an inspection from a Regulatory authority and is currently on Hold
Next Step
DHL will resume normal processing activity on the shipment once the regulatory examination is completed”
Can someone please explain what this means? I really need my parcel before Christmas!
