I am freaking out to. My package said that it left the shipping center on jan 6th. All my previous shipments have hit stateside within 2 days give or take a few hours. Yet it is 4 days later and nothing has happened. I got shipped via EMS btw. So is there definitely a chinese holiday that is backing things up?

I had two packages leave Hong Kong today via DHL. But the orders were placed back on Jan 23. I thought they had already left.

I FEEL sorry for your CHINESE supplier. I would HATE having a nagging customer like you. Your supplier probably works 6 times a week, working at minimum wage for $2 - $3 an hour, and your complaining,,,,They DESERVE a holiday....

Just REMEMBER, not to send catpoop to your supplier...

@teedon, what lol, the workers never have days off? Your statement sounds as if they work 1 year straight, and only see their families during the holidays, if so i would have to escape i'm sorry.

Let me tell you the truth.

They get 1 day off each week but they come from very far place and they cannot afford the ticket fee to go home .

So over 95% factoryies workers will go home during chinese new year holiday.Of cource, they do not like this but they get no choice because they have to make money for their family.

It is very diffcult to earn money at their hometwon to be a farmer,so thousands of workers leave their hometown and go to over 1000 miles to find a job .

So the chinese new year holiday is very important for them, they only can meet their family and their parents and children at this time per year.

I am sure many people outside of china can not bear this but it is the fact.

Its amazing the difference between the US and china, its a huge culture shock, I have placed an order 2 orders both show as shipped and i have tracking 4 days now and nothing showing up with EMS tracking. But back to the culture i would love to be able to make enough monies to be able to go visit there for about a week.

@teedon, good post at explaining how the labour force is done out there. I have long since known this so I understand the delay. It might seem as a long holiday to folx who want their stuff.
