Nothing to worry about. There are some delays after recent China convention meetings. Parcels comming from China has been kept in China for longer than usual as they was doing random checks on outgoing parcels and just fiew days ago they floded customs with mountain of parcels. UK not coping very well right now but they slowly moving and I have recieved fiew packages after a week or two even with no customs charges where they usually do put charges on my stuff.

Anyone having issues with EMS From china at the moment? Have ordered 3 parcels, all of which are in customs. 2 of which have only been in there for 2 days, but the other (which was one of two parts - the second part went straight through) has been stuck in there for over 12 days now. Should I start to worry?

My EMS tracking reads -
2012-11-05 09:23:12 FUZHOU Despatch from Sorting Center
2012-11-07 19:07:00 UNITED KINGDOM COVENTRY PARCELFORCE Arrival at Sorting Center
2012-11-07 19:08:00 UNITED KINGDOM COVENTRY PARCELFORCE Handed over to Customs

My parcelforce tracking for the same package reads -

08-11-2012 13:35 International Hub Received and processed
07-11-2012 19:08 International Hub Awaiting Customs clearance
07-11-2012 19:07 International Hub Received in destination country
05-11-2012 09:23 MISMATCH FUZHOU EMS Forwarded for export
04-11-2012 09:54 Delivery Agent - CHINA Collected from customer

Is this normal? Hopefully haven't been seized, that would be f***ing annoying :L

Hi minnies have you got your parcels yet?

What convention are you talking about?

Where can I verify this information?

Only conference I can see is GDC Gaming.

@kittyamnezia I'm in the exact same situation but only been 3 days for me, keep us updated!

well if they are vero and they look in they might destroy them. More then likely they will charge you VAT and Parcelforce will charge you another £13+ fees.

I dont even know why your messing around using Parcelforce - lots of better and safer options!

I can receive LARGE parcels to the UK from China in 3 days sometimes just shy of it.

Also, it can arrive and come through customs and be out for delivery the same day or worst case next morning!!

STOP USING PARCELFORCE ITS PROBLEMATIC!

DHL is way better. I normally don't even get charges, even on very high phake value parcels.

Must admit using EMs has only been hassle for me, I have lately had parcels with pieces stolen out of them!! All vero items so you cant complain to parcelforce either!! Add to the fees parcelforce have been adding, I am only just making a profit out of my parcels. Are D*L a safer option now for Vero? I am not bothered about paying VAT ,but am more concerned about getting my parcels intact??
