Seems the same from reading around - things have lightened up since London 2012

Still in its state of fog.

Improved a little.

Much depends on where the items land.

Would not say better at all.

Parcelfore ( the sort of central handling station) contributes to issues.

Still no guarantee to get notifications

Parcelforce customs clearance works a bit like the Paypal department that reviews docs. Neither of them seem to operate a first in, first out policy. Stuff gets processed and cleared completely at random.

I had a parcel clear through Parcelfarce customs in under 8 hours (:eek:) yesterday but whatever you do, do not expect this to be the norm.

Must be my lucky day.

That parcel from Coventry got released after 19 days. Appears to be taped over a hundred times.

Not sure how foo-foo importers can stand the strain.
