ParcelForce and Customs

hi everyone,

i ordered an item from the USA on the 9th, and it took ages to get into the UK, i tracked it every day, and it took ages to finally show up with some information.

here is what i have so far:
26-11-2012 03:41 International Hub Revised charges to be paid
26-11-2012 03:40 International Hub Revised charges to be paid
26-11-2012 03:34 International Hub Forwarded for UK processing
25-11-2012 10:50 International Hub Awaiting Customs Charging
22-11-2012 18:51 International Hub Awaiting Customs clearance
22-11-2012 18:50 International Hub Awaiting Customs clearance
22-11-2012 18:17 International Hub Received in destination country

can anyone explain this to me?
why have i had my item scanned twice on some occasions? and with it being scanned twice on 'Revised charges to be paid' does this mean i will have to pay twice?
does anyone know how long i have to wait before i can pay these charges?

any information at all will help a lot.

just call parcelforce and find out.

You will have to make one payment. £50 from my experience. Can make payment once it reaches your local hub. Any luck yet?
