Us customs seized letter

Hi about 1yr ago i ordered an item from hong kong that was sent from ems shipping i recieved a letter from us customs about 3 weeks later saying package was seize,my question is if i purchase something else would my package be seized again because i received that previous letter meaning is my address blacklisted that one time

I doubt that your address has been blacklisted after ONE seizure tha happened a year ago. You can most likely still get packages to that address.

Now, if it is another PHAKE that is being ordered, it would be smart to use a different address.

hey I have same problem I ordered boots from alibaba and the seller sent with logo on it so customs seized my package and I just received the letter from customs. Do I need to respond this letter or if I do not respond it they destroy my package?

It gives you the options on the letter... and yes you have to mail the letter back to them.

I wouldn't say your address is toast but packages sent there will definitely be looked at more closely in customs than a "clean" address

I got a letter like that once and I ignored it. I assume the property was just forfeited, and I never heard anything else out of it. This has been probably 2-3 years ago now. I am not saying "dont respond" nor "respond". I am just offering an experience I had. Hope it helps.

i contacted with seller and they said do not respond back to customs and they will destroy the package and I also called DHL about it they said same thing I do not need to contact with customs after 30 days they will destroy the package they said. Also I do not know if you guys check my pics of letter there is a part says "TAKE NO ACTION" and explain that after 30 days they will destroy them. But to be honest I want to make sure I do not need to contact with them for this issue. It was my address and my phone number on invoice but the name was different so little worry about it. It was first time also seized my package under my address.

how many pairs were in package?

they sent me a letter says 20 pairs brand boots but it was totally wrong I did not order 20 boots. I contacted with DHL about letter they said I do not need to do anything about it they will contact with customs to destroy them. Also Idk if you check my letter pics there is a part says TAKE NO ACTION part says if I do not take any action for this letter they will destroy it and post on customs webpage after 30 days ETC. It was my first package so I am little worry about it lol
