Am I the legal owner?

So if my stealth eBay and PayPal accounts are in the names of someone I know.

Are they legally able to claim all the money I make on there?

If so, any way around this?

Thay will be made up names and addresses so thay will be no one to claim the money and thay will never know even if thay was real names

You could always refuse to give them access to your accounts - then they wouldn't really be able to get to your money.

I guess there's always a possibility of one of your friends calling in and saying you hacked/took over their account, in which case you'd probably have a hard time.

Lets hope for your sake they never find out because if it was me you'd be getting a visit from plod. Have you thought through the tax implications if HMRC ever got involved and how you intend to provide their ID for verification?

😭 what if I register a business and assign the ebay account to that business? Will that solve the problem?

Or what if I ask him for permission to make an eBay account with his details? And not tell him that I already have one?

Why do you need to use your friends details? Just make some up. Or personally I just keep a list of the names and addresses of customers that were rude to me, and I sell all my VERO stuff on burner accounts set up in their details. It makes me happy.

simply done it so that I can have verifying documents such as ID, he'd let me use it
