Sales have dropped a lot for special days friends. According to what I think, people are buying necessary things and maybe clothes.

odd indeed - maybe if you offer a bit of last minute bargain with fast shipping, some ppl will buy last minute like those who have forgotten about the day [it happens a lot...]

Not sure what you are asking?
About sales being slow or none at all? That is pretty much a recurring theme on a lot of selling forums dealing with eBay.
Maybe it is their wonky search functions as most my buyers can't even find my items when I tell them to search certain keywords.

My ex landlady 's daughter just made breakfast in bed for mom,she was unemployed so?
Children are truly big liability,$$ wise,rare ever hear of children helping parents financially.

Not ,not all folks have seen that/
I have seen children in their mid 40s coming home and stay till their parents past away
