Default Disbursement from Suspended Account

Hi All,

Had a stealth account deactivated 90+ days ago. Waited for the disbursement date as there's $7500 still in the account and sent an email out to disbursement-appeals@amazon.ca and .com. Its been over a week now and they didn't respond to my email at all.

Is this is a typical wait time? Does anyone have ideas on how to get a response back? Never dealt with getting a disbursement before so not sure how it works or if I should just contact seller performance, jeff@amazon, etc.

Thoughts?

Depends on why the account is suspended.

I find that emailing them at that email has been useless and non responsive.


So what's the reason they gave you on suspension?

cc escalation contacts. include how many times contacted in the subject line in all caps. they're more considerate when other departments are watching haha. worked for me a few times, but wasn't able to have them disburse since they were stealth accounts. let me know how it goes!

they usually refuse to reply when they know it is stealth and the money is gone

otherwise they usually reply asking to schedule an interview

Account was suspended for reimbursement claims using same images.

It is a stealth account but using friends details so the interview is no problem and Amazon did not find out that this is a stealth account.

What escalation contacts would you recommend? I know the two CEO@Amazon emails but any others?

leamprotan, first question you need to clarify for proper discussion - what items were you selling or at least the category - we needed to understand if considered risky or possible infringement accusation

So I'm guessing they wrote something a long the lines of "fraud" and "abuse" in their email to you?

If so, you won't be getting that money back

They didn't write anything about fraud or abuse. Nothing regarding infringement etc.

I'm just looking for the contact information for disbursements and escalations, not going to go into the whole reason regarding the suspension beyond what I've mentioned above.

Even if YOU don't think I'll get the disbursement doesn't mean I'm not going to try?? Just looking for information on the contacts.

Wrong guess. Thanks for your opinion but I'm not trying to discuss the suspension

I'm only looking for other contacts to email for disbursement help. I don't care if I don't get the funds back but I'd at least like to get a response from Amazon even if it is denied.

Found this post in the forums... Seems like retaining funds from suspended accounts is very profitable for amazon.


video interview verification failed section 3 violation

I received an email from virtual identification a few days ago, which requested that I prove the authenticity of my inventory and provided a link to schedule a video verification appointment.

I prepared all the necessary materials and participated in the video verification. It was a real-time verification, not an appointment, and a telephone customer service representative assisted me in completing the verification.

During this verification process, the customer service representative did not ask me to show any information related to invoices at all.

I told him that our operational staff are my wife and me, and he asked to see my wife's and my ID cards, marriage certificate, business license, and other very routine information.

After the telephone verification ended, he asked me to send these four documents by email: "1.business license, 2.credit card statement, 3.bank account statement, and 4.marriage certificate." I quickly provided scanned copies.

Today, I received the email that my video verification did not pass: "We have taken this measure as we believe that your account or other related accounts operated by you may have been used for deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity."

I am very puzzled about what happened?

The materials I provided are all real documents issued by the government, and the customer service representative did not ask any other questions.

What is the basis for the video verification failure? The materials I provided cannot be ⊗⊗⊗⊗, and the video verification process asked very simple and straightforward questions, all asking me to show the original real materials.

Where did the problem lie? Why was the store closed directly without explanation?

My problem is I haven't even been able to get to this step to get a video verification. No response from any Amazon team email or disbursements. I have tried through appealing to see if I can get an answer there.

Already provided it above. I am not asking for appeal help. I am asking for contact information to get in touch with someone regarding a 90-day hold on my funds that has passed and disbursement is not answering.

What you are asking for is irrelevant and unrelated to my question so please don't reply unless you are directly answering the question (especially after I've provided clarifications and additional information).

Books could get you suspended.
$7500 sounds like you have sold quite a few books and grocery.
what kind of grocery?
if AMZN is ignoring you,I suggest you read AMZN rules again and see if you have violated some of their rules.
Depends on what you sold ,AMZN could keep the proceeds in case there is chargeback,lawsuit,complaint down the road
