Default Transaction Blocked...Seller can not receive funds???

Went to purchase an item and hit the BIN button and the following screen popped up
Transaction Blocked !
We're sorry, but the seller of this item is unable to receive funds at this time.

I emailed the seller and they offered to send me an invoice and I could send a MO...no thanks

My question is how can ebay allow this listing when the seller is not providing a "safe" way to pay?

If they had a problem with their PP or merchant account how can ebay allow the listing to stay up?

I have tried to list certain items and ebay wanted me to link my paypal account, so how does this stuff sneak through?

Happened to me for an account - some people took the invoice, some refused. Got around it...for now.

Ya. Problem is you cant really know why he's limited. Could just be a normal temporary thing and you could still do business with no worries... Or he could have 20 chargebacks this week. Best to skip him. Unfortunately even when the good guys go down there is no way of knowing "why"

Not to necro... but this is happening to me on an account, with a p a yp al account that's NOT limited

No tax/Ein on file with pay al... paypal is at 19k approximately. Not giving exact number, but i know what it is and is over 200 transactions. So maybe pa y pal/eb a y are cutting people off at 19k/200 ? I mean that's fine, as long as the account is fine next year.. Which last year it was fine. Not sure though... i am not gonna push it.As soon as i hit close to 19k i'm gonna stop selling on accounts now, just in case
