ebay buyer protection case

how long does a buyer have to open a buyer protection case?i got an email from ebay saying buyer attempted to open a case against me as item not recieved.the problem is, the item was delivered in may 2011 and he already left me a positive feedback.

you say attempted so he wasnt able to? i think its 60 days but ebay always stretches the rules for buyers so you never know

I received an email for a sale in September or October. But, then received another saying that it was a glitch. In my case, I already knew the matter had been taken care of. So, I didn't pursue it.

I got one for a sale in 2009!!! I just ignored it anyway

Problem for me is I have to add another credit card for the buyer protection before I can list. So, just waiting for a seller to contact me - Ebay helps to pay the bills and in about 4 days, my auctions will end.
