Arrow BT Homehub - Changing MAC address

Does anyone know how to do this?

I can see the MAC address but I can't find an option to change it.

I have tried simply resetting the router in the past to get a new IP but it is not a fail safe method. I have been trying to get a new IP for the last hour or so but I seem to be stuck with the same one.

Oh and happy new year

Sometimes if you switch the power off on your modem and then switch it back on and reconnect will reset your IP address, I take it thats what you are trying to do? If BT have dynamic IP addresses then you should get them too.

if you have btfon/open-zone then you can have a few different i.p's at the same time, 3, 10, 15 computers all hooked up at once all with different i.ps.

also, you do not need to change the m.a.c on BT because if you log in to the router settings, you have an infinity of options to swap i.p's ranges.

you have a default option, second pre selected option and a 3rd configurable option where you can put any i.p range.

MAC address, as I understand it, is not an EB or PP issue at this time but is an Amazon issue

some people change the mac to change the i.p range.

in some router settings you cannot change the i.p so Changing MAC is an option for them.

also persistent dynamic sometimes need to be kick started and that can be done by changing the mac.

Yeah, when I was using Virginmedia I used to have the same IP, and I used a guide on here to change the MAC address on the wifi router that then gave me a new IP address, there is probably a guide to doing this but I wouldnt know where to find it....
