Not had any experience specifically with Nationwide e-savers, however I added a co-op e-saver yesterday with no problems.

Others may be able to add more input in terms of Nationwide e-savers....

It may be a case that the sort codes are from a new range and not yet recognised throughout the banking system.

Similar thing happened recently when Halifax added a new range of sort codes.

I would give them another try in a week or so (just remember which accounts you assigned them to)

Nationwide savings accounts never used to have proper account numbers (and no sort codes). They now do (07-00-40 or the like and an 8-digit account number). However, I believe that these are 'internal' to Nationwide, i.e. it does not register as proper sort codes. You can test it out on the usual sort code checker sites.

Im sure thats becuase some of the Nationwide accounts only accept internal transfers, only one or two accpet external, very odd.

Hi mpaca,

Yup, been a long-time customer of Nationwide's. Have my main current account here, so I don't use Nationwide for PP.

Before adding a bank account on PP, try checking first on a site like:
Validate bank payment details

Then, on PP, when you want to add a new bank account, input the sort code first (without account number). If PP accepts this (you will see your bank name and location come up), then input the account number.
