Default New USPS Changes (27th Jan), Shippings costs increases

I read about prices increases only. Any other notable changes?

Also Parcel Post turned into Parcel Select. Any idea if shipping time will be the same (2-8 days ) ?

Great now ebay won't have postage on their site till March got to use another service and PAY for it!

msg just got today!

k it says parcels but what about small packages like 6 by 9 inches plastic mailer type? Or everything? This totally blows! I had stamps.com but I canceled it I was thinking it belonged to the gov so I had canceled it. Now I'll get it back! lol. I feel like an idiot!
------------------------------------------------

As someone who has used eBay Labels to purchase Parcel Post® in the past, we want to tell you about a recently-announced change that will go into effect January 27, 2013.

USPS will discontinue Parcel Post service as of January 27, 2013. Active listings with Parcel Post will automatically be updated to the new comparable replacement service—Parcel Select®—which will be available in the selling flow and shipping calculator as of January 27.

Know that the new Parcel Select service will not be available for purchase through eBay Labels until March. Sellers that wish to utilize this service before it is available via eBay Labels—and sellers who have sold items with the Parcel Select service—will need to go to the post office or an alternate online postage provider (i.e. Pitney Bowes, Endicia.com, Stamps.com, etc.) to purchase this class of service. Also, be sure to upload tracking information within your stated handling time. If you would like to continue to take advantage of the convenience of eBay Labels until Parcel Select is added to the eBay Labels system, consider temporarily offering a similar service.

As always, thank you for selling on eBay!

Sincerely,

The eBay Shipping Team

Default Shipping prices went up for first class international also? Can someone help me check

I use to pay like $4.56 for 3 oz to be shipped to Australia now it's $8.88! And this was 15 days ago!
First Class Mail Intl / First Class Package Intl Service - Package/Thick Envelope

So paying $4.32 more now? I was thinking prices only go up by like .20 cents or something? But $4.32?

Is that the normal price or I'm I wrong? To go up that high???? Within 2 weeks time?

Can someone check for me. I mean, for a company that loses packages from time to time and is slow on shipping they should work a lot better and faster if they want these prices.

Unless someone wants to post the Internet Eb price? Thank you in advance if you do!

And just because of this price going up, that's another 5 stealths I'm going to make!

That's only an 89% increase.

Sounds like the Government is doing it's job.

Screwing people over since Columbus landed!

I'd love to resell ebooks like I did before but people are so stupid they think they are getting a REAL book still! And then complain!

Where did you find this option? I just checked endicia and they don't have this shipping method, but now with the new rules you cannot ship package over 4lb overseas with first-class mail. IF it is above 4lb you have to use priority and price jumps to almost 60 bucks!
