the status has been like that since 00:17 today and no more updates. is my parcel in custom ? or just a delay? its from china thanks

Parcel status does not update every 30 mins.. Its more around 1 or 2 times a day.
Your parcel seems to acting normal to me.
Arrived in the UK on Sunday and passed clearance around 30 mins later.
Only worry when there is something to worry about..

If you have concerns then it would be best to contact DHL.

Nobody on here can tell you exactly what the problem is (if any).

I was told unless its 'clearance delay, the rest will be all normal , is that right?

What makes you think there would be much activity on a Sunday?

Be patient a bit longer.

when my other parcel came before on sunday , usually I could receive on second day (Monday), DHL may have backlog

Have you checked to see if any tax is due on the package?

If there is then pay it, it normally helps everything along

I checked there is no tax yet, should be some tax and import duty, will check later on should be available to pay later thanks

Have to wait for someone to update your customs charges & you will more than likely receive a call saying there are charges to be paid.
If there is no charges it could be that there is the wrong value being declared on invoice or they checking your parcel because of where it is coming from.

the sender may have declared less than 20 dollars, so there isnt any tax to pay I suppose

But was the actual value under $20? or false declaration?

It can always be dangerous under declaring value.

actual value about 100 dollar. just rang DHL they said will leave east midland tonight and shoud be out delivery tomorrow ,sounds all good so far
