DHL Customs Clearence Event every week

Hi all,

quick question for you. I have been getting in shipments the last few weeks

approx 1200 euro every monday, the last 3 weeks each monday customs have

asked for evidence of payment. and then i eventually get the shipment on

wednesday/ thursday if im really unlucky. This has got to stop as its really

interupting sales. Im going to bring in a shipment this monday of the same

item from china work about 5000 euro. how do i get this in without it being

held for several days yet again? Could i address it to another name (Middle

name then last name instead of first then last name)

There is not much you can do to stop customs stopping items

So long as they are declared correctly then you should always get your item, although it would be delayed by 2/3 days as you have found out

You could move to the UK, they only check about 1/250 here, tax dodgers heaven

The value of what you are importing and how regularly you have started bringing it across will be having an impact on how long they are insisting on holding and checking it.
