I am so sick of this! I did everything to a tee - took it slow, built up trust (or so I thought), and now PP acct is limited again. This time they are asking for ghastly amounts of information! SSN, Business info, suppliers, tracking, invoices, home address verification, etc. I used my ex-husbands information for this acct (yes, he's aware, lol), so the SSN checked out fine. But how am I supposed to supply invoices, and supplier information for items I purchased at garage sales?? I did supply to them invoices /supplier info for 5 out of 6 items they requested, but one of the items was a gift from a family member, and I don't have a receipt for this. I just emailed PP, and am hoping to hear back by the morning. So tonight I go to "my ebay", and it seems they've removed my 3 little listings I had left. No message as to why. Guess they are through w/me?!

PP is holding $700.00 in my account now, and essentially are ruining my business. God, I really hate them.

have you been suspended before, and if so do you think that is the reason, some link in info/cookies, perhaps?
They arent through with you necessarily, you will find out in time, for now the other item is just your own household goods, they cant argue with that.
So the cheque goes to your ex in 180 days, fingers crossed for you on that one!

You can have the check deposited into your bank account also.

exact same information asked of me yesterday night.. Im guessing this is a new extra security measure of paypal.... there's nearly 10 different pieces of information they are asking for.. I say call them by phone and hope you get a "understanding" specialist... Tell them your situation.. sometimes they will remove some of the limitations

yeah the last 3 times I've had accounts go down they wanted me to complete 8 different steps. I was really upset when all the items they wanted tracking info for they already had from me printing them through paypal and all of them had already been received. AND most of them I'd already received feedback for.

oompaloompa - Yes, I've been suspended/restricted prior to this, but never did they ask for all this kind of info. SSN & tracking was what they asked for last time (which is more than enough imo considering they aren't even a bank). Basically what happened was this - I had purchased a huge collection of vintage toys off craigslist, and sold it on ebay (btw, I was a 10 year member w/over 1500 fb). Within a week I had a few thousand in my paypal account, and I guess that freaked them out. I had a rough road getting that account off limited status, but eventually I did. By the time my funds were released, it took so much time that I had to borrow from family, friends, etc, to pay my bills. I was hit w/overdraft fees by my bank, among other things - they basically ruined my "investment". My ebay fees were up to over $2000, and I just walked away from that account since I couldn't afford to pay it. Not right, but there was not much I could do.

As far as I know, they haven't linked this new acct to the old one. I was selling items for under $100, and then sold something for about $300 the other day. I transfered about $550, and by that evening my acct was limited, and the funds were reversed back to my pp acct.

gurusgrafx - how long did the whole process take for them to review your accts?

I never tried to put together all the info. Any time my accounts get hit with the SS# thing I just walk away. Theres really no way around that one when the names on your accounts are things like Meso Ornay or Jimmy Licher. After you make a few dozen accounts some of us start to get creative with the names and things. Best thing about it, buyers don't seem to notice. lol
