Seller limit on pre 11/07 accounts + limited selling history violations??? help

Hey guys, I have an pre 11/07 ebay account that I recently started using for selling. I have started slow, only listing 2 items and Ive sucessfully received 2 postive feedbacks. I sell designer shoes and when I tried to relist one pair I got this message:

I do not check off paypal for selling under this account. I use the credit card option so how can I lift this limit? To my understanding pre 11/07 accounts did not need to accept paypal....I also had two of my listings pulled because of limited selling history??? They were DVDS by the way. I never heard of this happening esp. On older accounts but any advice would be highly appreciated......Thank you

They are changing the rules again. Ebay wants paypal with everything now.
Every year ebay and pp is getting more and more stricter.

So get a verified Paypal now.

So you think I can just open a paypal with the same info as on the account and then switch it back to using credit cards or are they going to force me to accept Paypal??

^^^Your item requires paypal as a means of payment. You have to list that you take paypal. Then you use an alternate method to get the payment. How you do that is your choice.

Where we used to say that a pre 11/07 ebay account did not need paypal that has changed. ebay now says if you list in certain categories paypal is needed. Annoying

Thanks greenbean, But how do you switch to alternative payment? if the auction ends 99% of the people will choose to check out via paypal.

Are there any such thing as paypal required categories...?
I use strictly merchant accounts and i've never had a problem..

The message eBay gave is there limit on BRAND goods.

There are obvious reasons for not revealing "secrets" even in the members area.
