This is not 1099-MISC. This is 1099k that was mailed at the end of January 2018 and returned. They asked that I have to update to the correct address and email PP to let them konw so they will mail it again. No SSN or tax ID attached to any of these accounts. What if you don't update the correct address . Will they limit your account and hold the fund for good or 180 days.

Im in a similar situation, 1099K's are mailed out every year around this time - my stealth accounts (Amazon) use non existent room numbers for apartment buildings. For example, if the apartment is 7 stories ill have apt#909.

The mail will 1099K will likely arrive at the apartment address, the courier will not see the #909 mailslot and either leave it out in the mail area and management will eventually find it, question the false apt#909 and likely open the mail to find out who it is. They'll see my stealth information and sales and a name that does not live at the apartment - if they're zealous enough maybe they'll even contact Amazon. I can't say what will happen.

I found something that confirms what you guys said earlier...The PP/ebay acct I mentioned is from VT. It's 6 years old I guess I forgot I even made one in that state back then!
So that makes me feel a whole lot better.

How do you know which form they sent if it was returned? Is it in your account for download?

They said it in the email that the 1099k was sent and returned

I just tried to log in to see my document for 2017 and it has nothing to download. Weird. What is this happened that they said they mailed it to me but I don't see it in my PP account. Make no sense. Can someone give me some inputs

I think you got sent a 1099-MISC, those shouldn’t be stored on your shop since it isn’t formally issued due to lack of ssn/ein. The email is probably autogenerated to say 1099K.

Just update the shop address and don’t worry about it.
