Activity: 0% Longevity: 86% | | Amazon is making me crazy!!!
Amazon is driving me mad!
New IP (same connection though), new entropay card, new phone number, new address etc. All these fine....
The computer is the problem, amazon are dumping something on my computer which they are recognising!!!
My last amazon account, 6 weeks old from another laptop in the house, going fine. My laptop (Which I have opened accounts with previously) came back from Dell after some work on it. Total reinstallation on it, all factory settings...
Within ONE hour of logging in, account suspended, linked to another account!!!
So, unless you have an unlimited supply of computers, what can I do...
I have found a used item you can buy on eBay for £25-£30 which I can push out 10 a week on amazon for £80-90, easy money....
Just getting the accounts!
I love amazon to pieces, just wish in my youth I hadn't messed my account up!!!!!!!!

It may be the serial number of the hard drive or the processor. It could be a 'signature' in the hard drive boot track or diagnostic track. But I've been saying what you just mentioned for many months now.
It's more than web bugs and flash. It's something substantial. Buy a cheap NEW computer if you can, before you sneak back on there.

Well if you think about it, buy a very cheap desktop for $100. You will pay it off in a week by selling those items.

VicVelcro, it is DEFINATELY something on the computer that stays the same.
Nothing to do with cookies at all, they know what computer you are on!
#3 all well and good, but an added expense on top of everything else to stay under the radar. I don't know whether you guys have freecycle over there, but I just got a free laptop real **** but does the job for amazon!

it is not the computer that they see...it's listing the same items again / the same catergory in the same ip range, with the same OS, and same web browser, same ip provider....all of this info is processed by a bot to check the probability that you are associated with the banned user...a new computer is a bit crazy to get just to sell. just reduce the probability factors

#5 It IS the computer.
I had an account going, logged in on old suspended account computer and within an hour the account was suspended!
All those things you mention were the same on other computer....same browser, same ISP, same OS, same catergory, same IP range etc etc.

It is the computer. Last 3 attempts to get back on Amazon, I didn't even list anything. Just put in the info and was letting it rest. Did nothing except the registration procedure. None of my attempts succeeds. The only common factor is the actual physical PC.
I've formatted, changed OS completely (tried 98SE, XPSP1 XPSP2 XP64, ubuntu, puppy, mint, slax, backtrack, and BSD). Changed modem, router. Changed MAC on everything.
Tried cable, dsl, and dialup. Changed my IP geophysical location so that I've popped up in Texas, Virginia, North Carolina, Arizona, California, Denmark, Austria, France, Spain, and Estonia.
It's something IN THE MACHINE.

Already done that. Doesn't work for me and several others. We have collectively tried everything short of a brand new PC. I'll be buying a brand new computer and using it to get back on Amazon soon. When I've done so, I'll post back. Quote:

To restate something I said earlier which seems to have gone un-noticed:
All the stealth that worked for Amazon back in April ---- IS NOT WORKING IN JULY.
Dig that. Read it 5 times. Or 10.

I was recalling in May you & I had accounts taken down. @shrugsshoulderssmiley@ meant I wondered what amazon did.

Yup. And I waited until early June to do anything about it. By then, it was too late, it seems. I waited while getting myself collected and sorted. I would have been better off if I had been quicker about it.
Now, I'm still not up and running. Still experimenting with issues.

It might.
I'm tired of trying things one-at-a-time, myself. I'm just buying a new machine, then get back on.

OK guys I just may be the crazy one here, but I use the SAME COMPUTER to make all of my amazon accounts and I am able to get back on until I build my inventory that somewhat matches my old one (after a couple of months)...then I get linked...in between time, I am stacking money like nobody's business....So listen to who you want to listen to here, but I am 99% confident in my method/theory and I am making money on amazon after being banned at last 30 times in the past 2 years on the same computer and ISP. I may get suspended after a month or two, but I have already scored alot of money and ready to make the new account.

Made any new accounts in the past 6 weeks? What USED to work 2 months ago IS NOT WORKING NOW.
And I'm not getting caught by listings. I never list until an account is 30 days old.
WITH ZERO LISTINGS - I GET ZAPPED WITHIN 24 HOURS. NO LISTINGS.
Go back and read all my posts about this and see that you all keep suggesting I did certain things I already said in advance that I did not in fact do. Also suggesting the vice-versa. Really.
HEADS UP. SOMETHING IS NEW. Quote:

My last account opened is about 3 weeks old...still going. My accounts occasionally get zapped in 12 hours but I keep trying until one sticks..sometimes it takes 4 tries, but eventually it goes thru for me.
I think I am done talking about amazon on the forum...I am tired of trying to reassure folks that there is a way to get back on amazon. I am taking a break from this topic and leave it to the other experts to help guide others. I make money on amazon and thats fine with me. I will talk about it again when I stop making money on amazon. I already put everything I know out there so I am not holding anything back, if something changes...I will be back..otherwise, good luck to everyone...I hope you get success as well....

Personally, I would like more input from ANYONE, including you, ebaykilla.
I don't want someone to repeat to me what I already said 2 posts previous to whatever they want to tell, though.
ebaykilla, I think you speedread sometimes and catch 2 words from every sentence, not the whole sentence. For example, you said I was being linked by what I list. I had already said the accounts were created but NO inventory listed.
If you'd like to go back and review the steps I have already taken, and help me find where the PROBLEM REALLY LIES, I would appreciate it. I just don't want the same info repeated 90 times when the info doesn't apply.
To recap steps I've taken:
New bank
New card
New Address
New Phone
New Name
Using Factory Utility - Zero Fill then Format HD entirely
Install old-ass version of OS from original CD (not restoring a backup) - Diff Computer Name, NO FLASH, NO COOKIES, Nothing. All clean.
Changed physical internet connection
Have NEW IP and new ISP and new Modem.
Bought another router and then changed MAC. Also tried without router.
Created accounts with no listed inventory at all (not even on standby)
Letting accounts rest like I always always always do
Still using same physical computer - mouse, keyboard, hd, motherboard, processor chip, ram chips, video card, ethernet card, USB cards, Firewire card, audio card - you get the idea.
I don't have a webcam, so they aren't 'watching' me.
