Default Debt Agency letter for eBay fees!

Hi Guys.

Just this morning I opened a letter from 'Newman Debt Collection Agency' asking for £29.37, from a eBay/Pay Pal account that was suspended in november.

I have money in my limited Pay Pal account, but this wont free up until May.

I'm just shocked that eBay will pass on a debt as small as £29.37!

I know it's not a lot of money, but would you just pay it? I hate having to give them money when.... Well you know all the usual BS!

If not, any advise?

in this forum many people said they never paid a single penny to ebay ? my account was limited and 9000£ held by paypal and I have 3400£ ebay fee which I have no plan to pay but I am not sure what ebay will do maybe from next month they will start sending me letter.

The good option is return all the letter back to them as "return to sender" then they will start calling I believe change phone number as well and they will not do any thing more then that also I am sure that they will not deal with creadit scoring company no one have ever experienced any thing like that.

The reason is why they are not taking us to the court is as the agreement says they will provide us the services(ebay) through out the term of the agreement but they broken the agreement by block/closing our ebay account.

Hi.
My pay pal was permanently limitedm with only about 150 quid in it (which is enough to pay all ebay fees)

It's my account with real info. I'm just shocked ebay would pass on a debt for something so small!

It says if I don't respond within 7 days the account will be processed further which could result in legal action with further costs.

Just wondered what you guys would do and if youve gone through this before.

Like I say all info is correct so theres no where to hide, I'm just real reluctant to pay as I have the money sitting doormant in my paypal account.

What you reckon.. just pay it?

Real info, small amount. Get rid of the problem. Move forward.
