google voice numbers

Hi guys I have a Google voice number and wanted to know if people have used them and you can do all types of cool stuff like hide your real phone number and also change your number and so on?

And yes I do have invites for 3 people left if someone wants one let me know.

Google voice is cool, it's free. You can change the phone number once in three months, with a ten dollar fee.

It was grand central, which is basically a phone forwarding service. Google Voice uses old Sprint mobile numbers, it works for paypal and ebay verification, and Amazon. I prefer phone.com.

Vum___ still works too...... Theyre back in business for way cheaper. And its still abusable with prepaids.

Yeah I am a big fan of vumb...so cheap. I have like 5 numbers for only $20/month.

google voice is fantastic. I use it all the time for Ebay and Paypal. The only downfall to it is that you HAVE to register another phone number to it to use it. Like a cell phone, and once you use the cell phone for that number you can't use it for another google voice number, which sucks. I primarily only do one account at a time so its not a problem, but if you are doing 5 or 6 its a pain. Either way I could use an invite again, I will PM you my email address when I get another one up.

I finally got my Google number... But I would need another one/ What should I do to get another one? Are multiple numbers allowed for one person?

Like I always say there is a way around everything. Let's just say I do have more then 5 numbers to 1.

Would you mind telling me how you do it? You can PM me? I just find a problem that whenever I have to register a new google voice account it takes my number off the other one. Then when I try to put it back it says "already registered with another account"

You'd have to send yourself invites.... but google is about as good with tracking as Amazon.
