Quick question for those selling vero items

Hey guys,I am trying to sell about 20 vero items (DVD Boxsets) a week and was curious to know how many stealth accounts do you think I will need in order to pull this off? I currently have 1 (pre 11/07 acc), that recently was suspended for 7 days because of p90x and 1 account about 3 months old that has a 30 day suspension on it. I was able to get off about 25-30 DVD sets sold before I got the 7 day suspension and i'm just letting it cool of for the next week.

Also, I need to know how much is safe to withdraw from each account if i'm selling items priced around $85-100, and how many can I sell per account at at a time? My goal is to make a quick 5-10k.

Fairly new to the forum and online selling in general.

On eBay I ran two accounts within the last 60 days (both shut down now).

Selling only P90X and Insanity DVD workouts (1 each per day per account).
Total of 4 sales per day with both accounts.

Grossed $3545 on one account and $2760 on the other. Started the second account about 5 days after the first.

DVD box sets are considered high risk by Paypal so just play it safe when withdrawing money from the account. I would only withdraw small amounts at a time. The key is to build trust with them so they don't think you are a scammer. I always wait until I receive feedback for a item or 7 days has gone by since it was delivered before I withdraw the money. Those are the rules I follow and I haven't had a PP account limited since I started that method. Best of luck to you!

Stay Far away from P90X, and Insanity (HEAVELY VERO'd Items)

that is why you make so much money on them, because Most of the listings get pulled.

I certainly wasn't suggesting selling those was the best course of action.
Just relating my experience as the seller had requested. Now I just need to find something at least slightly less risky!

I'm curious about this too...

Actually I'm more curious as to how you would be able to safely sell 200+ DVD box sets a month rather than just 20 a week. To be honest, if you build a solid reputation and groundwork you could probably pull off selling 20 DVD box sets a week with just one account. There are sellers of purely ⊗⊗⊗⊗ DVD box sets that are selling 100+ a month none of them last long though. The highest I've seen someone reach is about 1000 sales and their accounts suddenly stop dead.

I'm not sure about Paypal though, I'd suggest using Moneybookers or Paymate. I'm still in the process of experimenting with all sorts of products before I stick to a niche and DVD's are highly profitable. Though with any good profitable item the higher the profit the more dangerous it is to sell. I want to just tippy toe on the brink of that risk line cross over and jump back every now and then.

jamblix, how is paymate and moneybookers? if your account gets suspended can you use the merchant account on another ebay account? I am going to do some testing as well with other products and see how it goes. 200 a month would be beautiful indeed.

I personally don't have any experience with Paymate or Moneybookers. I do have a lot of sellers I'm researching though and the ones that use Moneybookers and Paymate are doing just as wells as the ones using Paypal. I'm planning to switch over to Paymate myself real soon.

I don't know about the merchant account. I have a similar question up about Paymate if your eBay account gets suspended I was wondering if you could link the Paymate to a fresh stealth account and not get noticed.
