Default Is there any way to "hide" my eBay listing from certain people?

I'm having a big problem. I'm trying to sell a VeRO item on eBay. No matter how many times I list it, it always gets taken down because some a-hole rat always reports me to eBay. I actually know the user name of that specific person because before he reports me he always sends me a message on eBay telling me about it when he discovers that I relisted the item.

I was wondering if there was some way to block this person from finding my listings in the search results. I know you can block members from bidding/buying on your items but I think they can still see the listings when they search for them. Does anyone have any suggestions on what can do?

Would be a wonderful idea, but the only way around that is to list on another account and redo your listing so your stalker wont know its you again.

It sounds like this person is a competitor or a self-appointed "eBay cop" who probably reports a lot of listings. If your item is VERO but in a niche category, this person will be impossible to stop. They will not know it is you who sets up another account, but they will report IT as well, either to protect what they perceive to be "their" sales, or else to make themselves feel good about reporting people. Some people have nothing better to do with their time.

I suspect Jeff is right. Someone that has used ebay long enough to feel they are somehow an important part of the system [Translate: Loser]

I cant see a competitor alerting you to their presence all the time. So I suspect a lonely internet tool...

There is no way of hiding your listing

I had a competitor single me out 2 yrs ago, even though it was a crowded category, somehow she just had it in for me , I has 100+ listings, she had 8 , in a category with over 7000 listings at any one time.

reported me more times than I can count, wrote messages to my buyers to not buy from me , the whole shooting match

a lot of my listings were taken down over it, suspended and then reinstated by ebay 2 weeks later over it

then I just decided it was not worth it, and I gave up on that category

I checked back a while later , and she stopped listing about the same time I stopped as well

what a sad life she must have , that my listings were the center of her day
