Default having a auction pulled

Say we are selling "£$% goods and ebay pulls a listing of ours. Can we carry on selling dodgy stuff on that account but not by that particular brand? Or is it second strike for a diff brand altogether and the account bites the dust?

if you get a MC019, you need to sell ordinary goods on there (non branded) for 3 months
otherwise you risk another takedown, its usually 3 strikes and your account is whack.

You can then after 3 months sell same brand or other brands, BUT if a brand is problematic and causes too many takedowns, drop it, and switch to a different one..not worth losing an account for..

Say if we get a MCO19 and we leave for 3 months. We come back same happens. We get 3 strikes over the space of a year because we have left and cooled down. Will the account go down to 3 strikes? Or can we just rinse and repeat over and over?

I dont think it's recorded per year - it's per account.

Yes per account. The strike is removed itself after a 3 month period though.

Sorry to bump this thread. I have just been hit with a MC019 for the first time. Under the policy compliance in my ebay it says its gonna take 12 monthsw for this too pass.

Have ebay upped it from 3 months to 12 or am i understanding this wrong?

I think they did, but now it takes 5 violations to suspend your account now.

The 3rd strike gives you a 1 week limitation, 4th is a 30 day limitation, and the last strike is pban.
